YAMABIKO GROUP

KIORITZ
Kioritz is the brand name Yamabiko carries primarily in Japanese domestic market and was a company name when the company originally started in 1947. The company started with the name of Kyoritsu Noki, driven by a strong desire to quickly increase Japanese food production after a relatively long starvation. The company name transformed into a brand and "KIORITZ" was adopted as the English name in 1973 with anticipation of full scale global expansion. Those working in agricultural and forestry in Japan have favored "KIORITZ" for more than a half century. It had developed a firm standing as the face of the company and is still a leading brand in Japan.
ECHO
ECHO was adopted as the name of a new brand in anticipation of international expansion in 1963. The name was taken from that of a nymph in Greek mythology and was adopted in conjunction with the release of the company's first chainsaw, the CS-80. More ECHO products followed, one after another, and today the brand's market stretches from forest to city and from Japan to the world. ECHO INCORPORATED was established in the USA in 1972, and today ECHO has a firm footing as one of the world's leading brands in outdoor power equipment.
