ECHO
KIORITZ
Kyoritsu Noki got its start in 1947, driven by a strong desire to quickly increase Japanese food production after a relatively long starvation. The company name transformed into a brand, and “KIORITZ” was adopted as the English name in 1973 with anticipation of full scale global expansion. Those working in agricultural and forestry in Japan have favored "KIORITZ" for more than a half century. It has developed a firm standing as the face of the company and a leading brand in Japan.
ECHO
ECHO was adopted as the name of a new brand in anticipation of international expansion in 1963. The name was taken from that of a nymph in Greek mythology and was adopted in conjunction with the release of the company's first chainsaw, the CS-80. More ECHO products followed, one after another, and today the brand's market stretches from forest to city and from Japan to the world. ECHO INCORPORATED was established in the USA in 1972, and today ECHO has a firm footing as one of the world's leading brands in outdoor power equipment.
